22-Year-Old Longboard Athlete Josh Neuman Dies in Plane Crash. He was one of the best athletes in his discipline. Known for his fearlessness in downhill longboarding, Josh Neuman always enjoyed taking risks when he jumped at full speed – sometimes over 100 km/h – on public roads. On her YouTube channel, she was sharing her amazing videos, shot perfectly, with nearly 1.2 million subscribers. On Thursday, February 3, longboarder Josh Neuman, whose millions of videos were viewed, died in Iceland, along with three others - 27-year-old Dutch-Belgian Youtuber Nicola Bellavia and 49-year-old Icelandic pilot. Their small plane has appeared to have crashed after more than thirty hours of operation that mobilized more than 1,000 people on Lake Thingvallavatn, near Iceland's capital, Reykjavik. Their bodies were found by a remote-controlled submarine about 300 meters from the ship's remains…. The purpose of the flight, which was expected to last two hours, was to take pictures of Icelandic landscapes for Belgian streetwear brand Suspicious Antwerp. “Everyone there was extremely passionate about travel and content creation, these themes were at the heart of this trip,” said Bram Boriau, spokesperson for Suspicious Antwerp. A few days ago, Josh Neuman saw the Northern Lights for the first time in Iceland and described it as "the best day of his life".
