Material Weight: Skateboard is lighter, Longboard is very heavy.

Wheels: With Longboard, you can cover more distances in one step compared to Skateboard.

At the end of the day, even Skateboarders adapt to Longboard more easily than Longboard athletes. Both sports have different beauties, but we should not think of them as the same, longboard can never be a type of skateboard.
